Veterans For Peace
Veterans For Peace is a national organization founded in 1985. The organization includes men and women veterans of all eras, including World War II; the Korean, Vietnam, Gulf, and current Iraq wars as well as other conflicts. Our collective experience tells us wars are easy to start and hard to stop and that those hurt are often the innocent. We draw on our personal experiences and perspectives gained as veterans to raise public awareness of the true costs and consequences of militarism and war—and to seek peaceful, effective alternatives.
FARM (Farm Animal Rights Movement) is a national nonprofit organization promoting a vegan lifestyle through public education and grassroots activism to end the use of animals for food. We believe in the inherent self-worth of animals as well as environmental protection and enhanced public health.
12South Yoga believes that active citizenship builds a better community. We are proud to support the efforts of these inspiring local organizations. We are also active sponsors of our many local schools and daycares through gift donations and provide educational outreach when possible.

TCEF is dedicated to help preserve the endangered Tibetan culture. The Tibetan Children’s Education Foundation (TCEF) is a nonprofit corporation founded in 1995, dedicated to the preservation of Tibetan culture by educating and assisting Tibetans, raising awareness of its culture, and by empowering Tibetans to manifest these goals. Aretha met the director of TCEF, Karma Tensum, at Feathered Pipe Ranch in 2002 and was inspired by his passion and service to his community. We have been sponsoring the education of a child in his school ever since.
